Acceptance of Terms

These terms of service (the "Terms") govern your use of the ACM UTSA Membership Portal (the "Portal"). By using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Portal.

Purpose of the Portal

The Portal is a membership portal for members of ACM UTSA, which is dedicated to promoting the study and use of computer science. The Portal provides access to information, resources, and communication tools for members of ACM UTSA.

Member Accounts

In order to access certain features of the Portal, you will be required to create a member account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep your account information up-to-date.

Post or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable content; Post or transmit any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others; Post or transmit any unsolicited commercial communications; or Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Portal. The content and materials on the Portal, including but not limited to text, software, graphics, photos, and other content, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, or exploit any content or materials on the Portal for any commercial purposes without the express written consent of ACM UTSA.

The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ACM UTSA makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Portal or the information, content, or materials included on the Portal. You expressly agree that your use of the Portal is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability

ACM UTSA will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Portal, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ACM UTSA, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, actions, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your use of the Portal or your breach of these Terms.

Termination

ACM UTSA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to the Portal at any time and without notice.
